Ah, sounds like Seattle too. I used to look at Vancouver as a wannabe Seattle, now Seattle is a wannabe Vancouver - black money real estate speculation, congestion, etc.

Rouyn-Noranda is basically the definition of middle of nowhere, and our average house prices are even higher than those of the ottawa- Hull Gatineau area. We have the Mines to thank for our insanely high house prices.
